A similar rule applies to personalized jersey’s as well. A little kid wearing his own name on the back expresses an optimistic view of the future. An adult with his own name, or even worse, a message that only he and his buddies can understand, is pathetic and sad.

Besides, any person willing to spend $100 on a jersey with a personal joke on the back needs to find a better way to spend their money. Try a vanity license plate, to at least save yourself the embarrassment since people driving behind you won’t be able to see your face.

It would seem, when the fan begins to get older than the players, it is no longer acceptable to rock the jersey. However, this in no way shape or form means the team support should stop. What I recommend is to invest in a pair of Timberland boots. Classic colors like black and brown are nice, and they stomp through the snow like it’s their job, because it is.  I have a pair of each, and they’ve lasted me for more than eight years now. My dad had a pair of stompers when he was around my age, and they finally gave out on him – the heel began to fall off. He was devastated, and called the company because they had a lifetime guarantee on the boot. With it, he brought a brand new pair of stompers, and he can get through the snow no problem.

You can always tie in colors, you don’t necessarily have to have “loud” colors on in order to look better. In fact, I prefer not to wear loud colors. I stay away from pink, oranges and yellows at all cost! There is one thing that a lot of plus sized women do – they don’t wear the right sizes. If you are an eighteen don’t try fitting into a sixteen! All this ends up doing is accentuating those areas where you don’t want it to accentuate!

For example, if you don’t like your butt, and you buy a really tight pair of jeans, chances are your butt is going to look larger, so if this is something you want to avoid, then don’t wear tight jeans! Same goes with shirts or dresses as well! If you are out shopping someplace and you aren’t sure about a specific size or outfit or piece of clothing – ask the sales girl. These girls are more than likely willing to give their advice about any fashion tips you need. Been there done that myself! You could also take a friend along with you as well if you are too embarrassed to ask a sales person to give you advice.

Most friends will be brutally honest about how you look, some are not. If you have a variety of friends pick the honest one! Also, if you like wearing jewelry, try to follow the “wear the right size” cliche above. Don’t wear tiny little earrings or necklaces. Try wearing things like chunky bracelets like bangles, or long flowing necklaces! So you see just because you are a plus sized woman doesn’t mean you have to feel embarrassed or “out of place”. I believe that all women are equally attractive in their own ways.

And a lot of people are going to look past the outside, and see the inside. This is what I try to remind myself when I’m having a bad hair day or something of the likes. If they don’t look inside and all they care about is your looks? It’s not a person you would want to have in your life anyway. YOU are beautiful just the way you are and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

Hey, some men actually prefer to look their best when dressing up! If you don’t, well, boo on you. But if you do, then these few tips could save you from major embarrassment! First off, when it comes to work, it’s important to not wear sneakers or sandles. The only time you should do this is if it’s Casual Friday or something along the lines of that. I suppose in some careers it’s alright to wear sneakers. However, if you work at a place such as a corporate office, sneakers are a major NO! Second off, ties ARE hot.

I love a tie on a guy, especially a really classy one like a black Armani or a pinstriped Gucci. Bow ties? Are out. Will be out. And have been out for a long time. Don’t do this! When you have an important meeting at work make sure you wear “power suits” or”power ties” these ties and suits can make the right impression when it comes to meeting up with clients! Power colors include; red, black, green and blue. It’s also important you keep the season in mind before choosing a suit jacket as well.

If its chilly, you might want to consider a scarf or overcoat. If it’s warm, you can even do without the jacket, just make sure you wear a nice tie and a nice shirt (no stains Mister!). This isn’t really a fashion rule – but cologne is a GREAT addition. Smelling nice is always a good thing as well! As for shoes, you should look for something Italian, patent leather, and something over $50! It’s also important that they fit good as well.
