Tadashi Shoji’s Fall 2012 Collection Is Fabulous

February 10th, 2012

New York Fashion Week is upon us and all the great runway styles are popping up. And one of my favorite runway shows so far is Tadashi Shoji’s fall 2012 show full of gorgeous dresses. Dark colors and floor sweeping full length skirts are abound. And my short stature loves them all, if only they were hemmed a bit shorter so I wouldn’t look like I was dressing up in mommy’s clothes.

Still, the colors, the fabrics, the femininity of it all, I’ve been caught up in it since fellow Fashion US writer Tara gave me a peek at the photos from the runway. Here’s a few of my favorites:

Can I please have each one of these in my wardrobe, tailored to me? Thanks! A lot of these styles are heavy on the lace and see through fabrics. Some dresses have layered fringes that give a 1920s flapper feel. quaint, retro and just stunning, I can’t wait to see how these transfer to every day styles found in H&M and the like.
