Winter Boots

February 22nd, 2010

If you’ve been having trouble this winter walking through the snow, it may be time to invest in a nice pair of boots. There are many waterproof boots that can get you around town, but it can be difficult to find a pair that’s multi-functional and fashionable. You don’t want to feel embarrassed about your footwear, especially if you’re in a more formal setting.

What I recommend is to invest in a pair of Timberland boots. Classic colors like black and brown are nice, and they stomp through the snow like it’s their job, because it is.  I have a pair of each, and they’ve lasted me for more than eight years now. My dad had a pair of stompers when he was around my age, and they finally gave out on him – the heel began to fall off. He was devastated, and called the company because they had a lifetime guarantee on the boot. Unfortunately they didn’t make his specific shoe, but they sent him a gift certificate for the amount the shoe would have cost, had it been current. With it, he brought a brand new pair of stompers, and he can get through the snow no problem.
